The role offers paid training, then a base salary plus commission and performance bonuses. Location is in Michigan with potential remote work, and licensing is required or available with free pre-licensing education.

The position emphasizes growth, leadership, and ownership within Farmers' system, with opportunities to advance as you gain experience and build your book of business.

Qualifications

• Must have strong interest in sales and business development.
• Ability to make outbound calls and follow up on leads.
• Comfort with using CRM systems and standard business software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with goal orientation and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through inbound and outbound sales activities.
• Conduct cold and warm calling to build a sales pipeline.
• Follow up on inquiries to identify coverage needs and close opportunities.
• Attend local events and build partnerships for referrals.
• Meet with customers in person or virtually to review coverage and provide solutions.
• Educate clients on coverage options and risk exposure.
• Deliver high level service including policy changes, renewals, and claims support.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing book of business.
• Maintain accurate activity and CRM records.
• Stay current on Farmers products and promotions to stay competitive.
• Support agency growth by meeting production targets.
