Job summary

Waggoner Financial seeks an experienced insurance leader to analyze client needs, review policies, and compare carriers to select optimal solutions. You will design insurance strategies within integrated financial plans with advisors and drive revenue through new client acquisition and cross-selling.

You will build and lead the department, hire and train staff, and monitor performance, retention, and metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in insurance sales or planning.
• Active life and health license required; P&C license preferred.
• CLU, ChFC, or similar designation preferred; CFP a plus.
• Deep knowledge of life, disability income, and long-term care insurance products and underwriting.
• Experience integrating insurance planning within a wealth management or financial planning practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client needs analyses, policy reviews, and carrier/product comparisons to identify suitable solutions.
• Design and deliver insurance strategies as part of comprehensive financial plans with firm advisors.
• Drive department revenue growth through new client acquisition and cross-selling within existing clients.
• Build and lead the insurance department, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff.
• Track and report on department performance, production metrics, and client retention.
