Job summary

Waggoner Financial is seeking a senior insurance leader to design and deliver comprehensive insurance strategies within integrated financial plans. You will work with advisors to identify the best solutions and lead growth through new clients and cross-selling, while expanding product and service offerings.

As head of the insurance department, you will hire, train, and mentor staff and track performance, retention, and metrics to ensure the practice scales effectively.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in insurance sales or planning.
• Active life and health insurance license required; property and casualty license preferred.
• CLU, ChFC, or CFP designation preferred; CFP a plus.
• Deep knowledge of life, disability income, and long-term care insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client needs analyses, policy reviews, and carrier and product comparisons to identify suitable solutions.
• Design and deliver insurance strategies as part of comprehensive financial plans with advisors.
• Drive department revenue growth through new client acquisition, cross-selling, and expansion of offerings.
• Build and lead the insurance department, including hiring, training, and mentoring staff.
• Track and report department performance, production metrics, and client retention.
