Job summary

Relation Insurance Inc. seeks a seasoned Personal Lines Director to drive the strategic vision, growth, and profitability of the Personal Lines department. You will oversee the Department Manager, allocate resources, and build relationships with senior leadership, carriers, and major clients.

You will champion excellence, regulatory compliance, and innovative initiatives while guiding teams toward superior client service and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; four-year degree preferred.
• Property & Casualty license from domicile required and must be maintained.
• Minimum 12 years of account management experience in insurance with Personal Lines focus.
• Experience using EPIC and AMS360 strongly preferred.
• Advanced professional designation (AAI, ARM, CIC, CPCU, CEBS, GBA, RHU, REBC) desirable.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills for in-person and online sessions.
• Deep understanding of advanced Personal Lines coverage and markets.

Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors the Personal Lines service team to foster a culture of excellence.
• Participates in strategic planning and drives Personal Lines growth.
• Develops department strategies and objectives to meet client expectations.
• Collaborates with sales, underwriting, and other departments to align service strategies.
• Implements efficient workflows to optimize service delivery.
• Ensures high-quality service by training the team to address inquiries and resolve issues.
• Monitors department metrics and ensures goals are met.
• Maintains relationships with key decision makers internally and externally.
• Oversees market coordinators with Regional and National Broking teams.
• Provides leadership with regular performance reports and data-driven decisions.
• Ensures compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.
• Identifies and mitigates department risks.
• Adopts proprietary AI solutions to improve client service.
