Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital in Marlton, NJ is hiring a Full-Time Insurance Coordinator to join a pediatric team. The role acts as a liaison among outpatient rehab, families, and insurance providers to coordinate care and reimbursement, while handling admissions, data reporting, and daily clerical duties.

The position requires a high school diploma, clerical experience, and strong communication skills. Bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Two years of experience in a clerical or business environment.
• Articulate, tactful, and able to deal with people in a pleasant manner.
• Computer literate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and reimbursement between Outpatient Rehab, patients' families, and Insurance Company.

• Track and prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly statistics and reports for the Outpatient Program.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Acts asliaison between Outpatient Rehab/Patient’s Family/Insurance Company tocoordinate care and reimbursement. Collects all necessary medicaland insurance information. Performs various tasks associated withOutpatient Case Management, verifying benefits, obtaining authorizations,processing patients upon admission and discharge. Accountable for the tracking and preparationof weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly statistical data and periodic reports forthe Outpatient Program when required.Interacts with families of patients from infants, school age and/oradolescents up to and including age 20. Responsible for attending theBusiness Office Meetings on a monthly basis.Handle various clerical functions as assigned by the Department Directoror his/her representative. Thoroughknowledge of facility policies and procedures as it relates to the above dutiesis required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High SchoolDiploma
2. Two yearsexperience in clerical or business environment
3. Articulate,tactful, and able to deal with people in a pleasing manner in both personal andtelephone contacts
4. Computerliterate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
5. Ability tocommunicate effectively
