Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital in Sewell, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Receptionist to join a compassionate pediatric care team. You will answer calls, greet patients, collect copays or required payments, and document transactions in the EMR system to support efficient patient flow.

As a member of a dedicated, family-centered program, you will monitor entrances, perform basic clerical duties, and uphold facility policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Two years of experience in a clerical healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal/external customers.
• Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Team player who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and transfer calls; take messages.
• Greet patients and collect copays or required payments prior to treatment; document transactions in EMR.
• Monitor entrances and exits of visitors, patients and families.
• Handle various clerical functions as assigned; will be trained on HBA procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of facility policies and procedures as they relate to above duties.

We are recruiting for a Full-Time Outpatient Receptionist to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Sewell, NJ. This position is benefit eligible.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Responsible for answering telephones,assisting callers, transferring calls to appropriate destination, takingmessages.
• Responsible for greeting patients in a fastpaced environment, collecting copays, deductibles or required payment ofservices prior to treatment, documenting transactions in EMR.
• Responsible for monitoring entrances andexits of visitors, patients and families.
• Handle various clerical functions asassigned by the Office Manager or his/her representative. Will be trainedby the Office Manager pertaining to HBA procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of facility policies andprocedures as it relates to the above duties

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Two years of experience in clericalhealthcare environment
• Articulate, tactful, and demonstrate the abilityto communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• Attention to detail with ability to multi-task
• Computer literate in Excel, MS Word, andOutlook
• Team player and ability to workindependently

SCHEDULE:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 10am - 6pm

Thursday: 11am - 7pm

Friday: 9am - 5pm
