Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital in Northfield, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Receptionist to join our pediatric care team. You will be the first point of contact for families, delivering warm, professional assistance and coordinating front-desk operations with the clinical staff.

This role requires excellent communication, strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook), and the ability to manage multiple tasks with kindness and efficiency, ensuring a smooth patient flow and accurate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years healthcare/clerical experience preferred.
• Computer literacy with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and direct to appropriate destinations.
• Greet patients and families upon arrival.
• Collect documentation, copays, and payments; document in EMR.
• Monitor entrances and exits of visitors and patients.
• Perform clerical tasks as assigned by Manager/Director.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures.

We are recruiting for a Full-Time Receptionistto join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Northfield, NJ. This position is benefits eligible.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Responsible for answering telephone calls andtransferring to appropriate destinations.
• Responsible for greeting patients
• Responsible for collecting required documentation,copays, deductibles, or payment ofservices prior to treatment and documenting transactions in EMR.
• Responsible for monitoring entrances andexits of visitors, patients and families.
• Handle various clerical functions asassigned by Manager and/or Director.
• Thorough knowledge of facility policies andprocedures as it relates to the above duties.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School diploma or GED
2. Two years of experience in clerical/healthcareenvironment preferred
3. Computer literate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
4. Ability to communicate effectively with team membersand patient’s families
5. Ability to function independently or under supervisionas task requires
6. Organizational and time management skills
7. Strong customer service skills
8. Bilingual preferred
