Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital in Northfield, NJ seeks a Per Diem Outpatient Therapy Aide to support the outpatient rehab department. The role assists with room prep, supplies, and clerical tasks to help the therapy team serve pediatric patients.

The position is not benefit eligible, offers a flexible, per diem schedule, and emphasizes teamwork, patient care, and attention to hygiene and safety in a pediatric setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Interest in healthcare and working with children in a rehab setting is expected.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and be self-motivated.
• Strong multitasking and time-management skills are essential.
• Ability to work independently or under supervision.
• Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility with changes in workload.

Responsibilities

• The rehabilitation aide supports the overall functioning of the outpatient rehabilitation department.
• Cleans and prepares treatment rooms before and after sessions.
• Maintains inventory supplies and keeps stock areas clean and organized.
• Cleans and organizes work areas and disinfects equipment after treatment.
• Arranges treatment supplies to keep them in order.
• Performs clerical tasks including photocopying, phones, faxing, data entry, and voice mail.
• Creates, collects, and distributes documents to assist the therapy team.
• Keeps cleaning, inventory, and equipment temperature logs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
