Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital in Northfield, NJ seeks a Full-Time Outpatient Receptionist to join a pediatric care team. The position is benefits eligible and focuses on front-desk duties, patient reception, and accurate clerical processing.

The role requires strong communication with families, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual preferred; experience in healthcare is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Two years of clerical/healthcare experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong communication with patients and families.
• Ability to work independently or with supervision as needed.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and transfer to appropriate destinations.
• Greet patients and visitors upon arrival.
• Collect documentation, Copays, deductibles, or payment prior to treatment and document in EMR.
• Monitor entrances and exits of visitors, patients and families.
• Handle clerical tasks as assigned by Manager/Director.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures.

We are recruiting for a Full-Time Outpatient Receptionistto join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Northfield, NJ. This position is benefits eligible.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Responsible for answering telephone calls andtransferring to appropriate destinations.
• Responsible for greeting patients
• Responsible for collecting required documentation,copays, deductibles, or payment ofservices prior to treatment and documenting transactions in EMR.
• Responsible for monitoring entrances andexits of visitors, patients and families.
• Handle various clerical functions asassigned by Manager and/or Director.
• Thorough knowledge of facility policies andprocedures as it relates to the above duties.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School diploma or GED
2. Two years of experience in clerical/healthcareenvironment preferred
3. Computer literate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
4. Ability to communicate effectively with team membersand patient’s families
5. Ability to function independently or under supervisionas task requires
