Job summary

Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital in Marlton, NJ seeks a Full-Time Insurance Coordinator to join our pediatric care team. The role coordinates care between families, outpatient rehab, and insurance, ensuring benefits are verified and authorizations obtained.

You will support admissions, discharge processing, and data reporting for the Outpatient Program. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, 2 years of clerical experience, strong communication, and computer skills (Excel, Word,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two years of clerical or business experience.
• Articulate, tactful, and able to deal with people in person and over the phone.
• Computer literacy in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between Outpatient Rehab, patient's family, and insurance to coordinate care and reimbursement.
• Collects all necessary medical and insurance information and verifies benefits.
• Obtains authorizations and processes patients upon admission and discharge.
• Prepares weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly statistics and reports for the Outpatient Program.
• Attends Business Office Meetings monthly and handles related clerical tasks.
