Acts asliaison between Outpatient Rehab/Patient's Family/Insurance Company tocoordinate care and reimbursement. Collects all necessary medicaland insurance information. Performs various tasks associated withOutpatient Case Management, verifying benefits, obtaining authorizations,processing patients upon admission and discharge. Accountable for the tracking and preparationof weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly statistical data and periodic reports forthe Outpatient Program when required.Interacts with families of patients from infants, school age and/oradolescents up to and including age 20. Responsible for attending theBusiness Office Meetings on a monthly basis.Handle various clerical functions as assigned by the Department Directoror his/her representative. Thoroughknowledge of facility policies and procedures as it relates to the above dutiesis required.
