Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a Sales Agent to develop leads, set appointments, and conduct needs analyses to help members select insurance products and Club memberships. The role emphasizes offsite networking to grow membership and drive revenue, with a focus on delivering informative guidance to members.

The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and adherence to underwriting guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 1–3 years Insurance sales/service preferred.
• Advanced oral and written communication skills.
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products and Club memberships.
• Develop a sales strategy to meet production targets.
• Prospect for membership and insurance opportunities through community events and referrals.
• Generate leads using direct mail, referrals, networking and prospect purchases.
• Maintain expertise on Club products and services and communicate with members.
• Analyze needs to quote rates and qualify applicants; inspect vehicles or property as needed.
