Job summary

Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a Sales Agent to grow memberships and sell insurance products, primarily offsite. You will perform customized needs analyses to help members choose products and maintain retention through policy reviews and cross-sell opportunities.

Documentation and underwriting guideline adherence are essential. The role involves selling to members and insureds, coordinating payments, and providing service via multiple channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred
• 1-3 years Insurance sales/service Preferred
• Advanced oral and written communication skills required
• Moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel required
• Previously demonstrated advanced level of competitive and persistent nature required
• Advanced organization skill required
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and assignments

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products and memberships; develop sales strategy to meet targets
• Prospect for membership and insurance opportunities through various channels
• Provide service to members via in-person, phone, email or fax; process changes
• Conduct policy reviews and identify cross-sell opportunities
• Collect payments and manage documentation
• Attend training and meetings to maintain product knowledge
• Adhere to underwriting rules and company guidelines
