Job summary

Relation Insurance Services is seeking an Account Coordinator in New York to ensure accurate and timely policy documents, renewals, and day-to-day servicing while acting as the primary client contact. You will stay current on industry trends and leverage AI tools to enhance service delivery.

The role requires knowledge of commercial lines, strong analytical skills, and proficient MS Office usage. Travel and valid driver's license may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty license required.
• AINS and/or CISR designation preferred.
• HS diploma required; 4-year degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of client service experience in insurance (commercial lines).
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus or required in some locations.

Responsibilities

• Serves as initial client contact; monitors questions and recommends coverage changes with Account Management.
• Identifies, researches, and resolves routine client issues.
• Maintains client files with accurate documentation per company workflow.
• Assists with remarketing renewals and prepares proposals.
• Reviews policies from carriers for accuracy and expedites corrections.
• Ensures carriers respond to expedite claim settlements.
• Reviews audits for accuracy and communicates differences to client.
• Reviews cancellation requests to retain clients while protecting company interests.
• Keeps up to date with industry trends and technology to improve service.
• Adopts innovative technology, including AI, to deliver best-in-class service.
