Job summary

Relation Insurance Services is seeking an Account Coordinator to ensure accuracy and timeliness of policy documents, renewals, and client servicing tasks. You will be the primary contact for administrative duties related to client policies and stay current on industry changes.

The role requires a Property & Casualty license, 3+ years of commercial insurance client service, and strong communication skills. A bilingual candidate is a plus, with opportunities to advance and utilize AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty license from state of domicile (required)
• AINS and/or CISR designation preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent; 4-year degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of client service experience in insurance (commercial lines)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus or required in some locations
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills for in-person and remote sessions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients, carriers and vendors
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, agency management systems, and online rating systems
• Knowledge of insurance markets, products, underwriting procedures
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites

Responsibilities

• Serve as initial client contact and monitor questions; provide coverage recommendations with Account Management Team
• Identify, research, and resolve routine client issues
• Maintain accurate client files and documentation per workflows
• Assist with renewal remarketing and prepare proposals as directed
• Review policies from carriers for accuracy; expedite corrections and handle endorsements
• Ensure carriers respond promptly to expedite claim settlements
• Review audits for accuracy and communicate significant differences
• Process cancellation requests to retain clients while protecting company financials
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new products, legislation, and tech advances
• Adopt innovative technology, including AI solutions, into service processes
• Handle special projects and other duties as assigned
