Job summary

First Chicago Insurance Company is seeking an experienced Claims Call Center Specialist to join our growing Claims team. This position serves as the first point of contact for insureds, claimants, attorneys, carriers, and other parties reporting or inquiring about claims.

You will gather loss information, guide customers through the claims process, and support claims adjusters while maintaining accuracy and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires proven customer service experience and familiarity with insurance/claims.
• Experience in a high-volume call center is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, empathetic service to insureds, claimants, attorneys, and other callers.
• Document initial loss information accurately and assist navigating the claims process.
• Support claims adjusters and the broader Claims department as needed.
• Maintain productivity and uphold quality and documentation standards in a fast-paced environment.
