First Chicago Insurance Company is seeking an experienced Claims Call Center Specialist to join our Claims team in Chicago. This role targets individuals with claims, insurance, or high-volume call center backgrounds who can handle inquiries with autonomy.

You will gather loss information, assist with navigating the claims process, review policies, and support adjusters. Strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in insurance, claims, or high-volume call center.
• Strong verbal communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional service to insureds, claimants, and others reporting claims.
• Receive and document initial reports of accidents and losses accurately.
• Gather loss information and ensure claim documentation is complete.
• Review policy information and identify potential coverage concerns.
• Guide customers through the claims process and answer questions.
• Route claims and calls to appropriate unit based on loss circumstances.
• Support claims adjusters with timely information and documentation.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
• Process tow bills, police reports, claim payments, and other admin tasks.
