Qualifications

• Active Michigan Property & Casualty and Life, Accident & Health licenses, or willingness to obtain within a timeframe.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or prior sales/customer service/leadership experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interest in sales, business development, and long‑term career growth.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional presence.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through inbound and outbound sales activities (phone, text, email, virtual outreach).
• Conduct cold and warm calls to build a consistent sales pipeline and follow up on leads.
• Meet with customers in person, by phone, or virtually to review coverage and tailor insurance solutions.
• Educate clients on coverage options and risk exposures to help informed decisions.
• Deliver high service levels by handling policy changes, renewals, and claims support.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities within the existing book of business.
• Maintain activity, pipeline, and customer records in CRM systems.
• Stay current on Farmers products, underwriting guidelines, and promotions to stay competitive.
