Farmers Insurance James Camp is seeking an Agent in Training to build a long-term career in insurance, gaining hands-on experience in sales, client relationships, agency operations, and business development while working toward leadership or ownership.

This in-office Michigan opportunity offers Paid Training, a base salary after training, plus commission and performance bonuses. Remote options may be available during the training period and beyond.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work in-office in Michigan, with remote options available
• Active Michigan Property & Casualty and Life, Accident & Health licenses, or willingness to obtain them within a timeframe
• Free pre-licensing education available to help meet state requirements
• Strong interest in sales and long-term career growth

Responsabilités

• Generate new business through inbound and outbound sales activities (phone, text, email, virtual outreach)
• Conduct cold and warm calls to build a consistent sales pipeline
• Follow up on leads, inquiries, and prospects to identify coverage needs and close opportunities
• Meet clients in person, by phone, or virtually to review coverage and provide insurance solutions
• Educate clients on options, risk exposure, and protection strategies
• Deliver high service levels by handling policy changes, renewals, and claims support
• Identify cross-sell opportunities within the existing book of business
• Maintain accurate activity and CRM records
• Stay current on Farmers products and promotions to present solutions confidently
• Support agency growth by meeting production and activity targets
• Collaborate with team to improve processes and share best practices
