Job summary

Lockton invites recent graduates to join the Associate Account Manager Training Program, a two-year, structured path designed to develop client-facing insurance expertise. Participants will gain hands-on experience in marketing, servicing, and renewal of commercial accounts, with formal training and real client exposure.

The program begins in January and June 2026, offering opportunities to advance to an Account Manager after successful completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with a minimum 3.3 GPA.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to organize work, manage time, and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours when needed.
• Legal ability to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Participates in negotiations with carriers for new and renewal quotes with oversight.
• Collaborates with senior staff in selecting new markets for submission and requesting quotes.
• Reviews quotes, binders, and endorsements and makes requests for changes as needed.
• Maintains relationships and interfaces with clients, carriers, and other vendors.
• Inputs client information into data management system with accuracy.
• Produces materials for client presentations and meetings.
• Communicates changes affecting premiums or coverage to clients.
