Job summary

AXIS Capital is a global specialty insurer and reinsurer committed to serving brokers and clients with exceptional service. This Account Manager role focuses on policy administration, endorsements, and accurate data handling to support underwriting teams.

You will build relationships with brokers, respond to inquiries, and ensure timely processing of new and renewal business while upholding regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in the commercial insurance industry as an Underwriter Assistant or equivalent insurance experience.
• Solid understanding of Property and Casualty insurance coverage.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication and able to independently interact with brokers and clients.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Policy Administration and Processing: Perform advanced administrative tasks related to new and renewal business, including policy binding, issuance, and endorsements.
• Relationship Building, Client Engagement and Communication: Act as a key point of contact for brokers and clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates.
• Data Management and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of policy and underwriting data, and track information flow.
