Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking an Account Manager to deliver high-quality service to internal and external clients, partnering with underwriting teams, and focusing on retention, profitability, and growth in P&C. The AM will build relationships with underwriters and brokers while ensuring accurate policy administration and documentation.

Key duties include handling new and renewal business, mentoring junior staff, and utilizing diary systems for timely follow-ups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance, or related field preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in the commercial insurance industry as an Underwriter Assistant or equivalent insurance experience is required.
• Solid understanding of Property and Casualty insurance coverage is necessary.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Policy administration and processing for new and renewal business, including binding, issuance, and endorsements.
• Relationship building with brokers and clients; provide updates and guidance, mentor juniors.
• Data management and documentation, using diary systems to track information and ensure accuracy.
