Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related field preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in commercial insurance as an Underwriter Assistant or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Policy administration and processing including binding, issuance, and endorsements.
• Review policy documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Build relationships with brokers and clients; provide updates and ensure service.
• Maintain records of policy and underwriting data; use diary systems to track deadlines.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with underwriting teams.
