Job summary

Sentry is seeking an Account Executive to directly sell to niche market accounts in the Rhode Island/Massachusetts territory. You will build profitable relationships, work cross-functionally with underwriting and claims, and drive growth through new and renewal business with a focus on service quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, the ability to obtain P&C and Life licenses, and comfort with a remote work environment and travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in sales.
• Ability to obtain P&C and Life licenses to sell Sentry products.
• Self-discipline and thrive in a remote work environment.
• Strong multitasking, communication, and organization skills.
• Strong analytical and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell to niche market accounts to increase premium volume.
• Retain profitable business by delivering quality service.
• Build and maintain relationships with businesses.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Loss Control, Audit, and Customer Service.
• Pursue niche market opportunities in the assigned territory.
• Leverage current customers for new growth and sales opportunities.
