Job summary

TruTeam is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive growth in residential and light commercial segments. You will identify prospects, perform daily calls, prepare proposals, and manage accounts from initial sale through project completion. Leverage product knowledge to recommend solutions and meet territory targets.

Role requires 3+ years of building products sales experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a valid driver’s license. Local travel >50% is expected in the local market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience in building products/construction.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell product lines to residential and light commercial accounts.
• Identify prospective customers and generate and follow up on leads.
• Conduct daily sales calls, provide proposals, and manage accounts.
• Provide product knowledge and recommend materials based on customer needs.
• Understand the market, monitor conditions, and price competition.
