Job summary

Energy Transfer LP seeks an instrument and electrical technician to provide support to construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventive maintenance on control systems, SCADA, and equipment at gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

The role requires interpreting manuals, drawings and regulations, completing required testing per DOT/PSM, and participating in safety programs.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
0-2 years for Level C / 2-4 years for Level B / 4+ years for Level A relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience.
Valid driver's license with demonstrated safe driving record.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Outlook and Word.
Experience using software to troubleshoot, design, or configure control solutions such as In Touch Wonderware, FactoryTalk, RSLogix, or DeltaV.
Extensive knowledge of DOT 192, 193, 195 and OSHA 1910 pertaining to testing and documentation for plants, pipelines, and facilities.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor instrument and electrical equipment components.
Install, diagnose, and maintain pneumatic and intelligent instruments and motor control gear.
Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and regulations including P&IDs.
Test, calibrate, and document control and safety devices per DOT/PSM requirements.
Follow safety policies and participate in on-call requirements.
