Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an Instrumentation and Electrical Technician to provide technical support for construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on SCADA, PLC/DCS, gas compression, and other control systems across pipelines and stations.

Responsibilities include reading drawings and schematics, following DOT/PSM safety requirements, and mentoring junior staff while supporting on-call

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or GED.
0–2 years (Level C) or 2–4 years (Level B) or 4+ years (Level A) of relevant experience.
Valid driver’s license with clean record.
Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Word).
Experience with industrial control software (Wonderware InTouch, FactoryTalk, RSLogix, DeltaV).
Familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulatory references.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA, plant, pipeline, and compressor instrumentation and electrical equipment.
Troubleshoot PLCs or DCS, and process or safety controls.
Read manuals, drawings, and schematics and document tasks.
Perform preventive maintenance per regulatory requirements.
Provide mentoring and oversight to less experienced staff.
Support safety initiatives and compliance.
