Job summary

Energy Transfer seeks an instrument and electrical technician to support construction, plant facilities and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems, SCADA, and related equipment across gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

Responsibilities include reading manuals and schematics, testing safety devices per DOT/PSM, mentoring staff, and coordinating with contractors to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ,
• Experience commensurate with job level (Level C/B/A).
• Knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems and field equipment.
• Test, calibrate, and document safety devices per DOT/PSM standards.
• Read manuals, drawings, and schematics; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in on-call duties and mentor junior staff.
