Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an instrument and electrical technician to provide technical support for construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems, SCADA, PLCs/DCS, and related equipment at gas/liquid facilities and pipelines.

Essential duties include installation and maintenance of SCADA and instrument/electrical components, interpreting drawings, testing devices per DOT/PSM,

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Ability to maintain motor controls, relay logic, RTUs, I&E devices.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook/Word).
• Experience with In Touch Wonderware, FactoryTalk, RSLogix, DeltaV.
• Extensive knowledge of DOT 192/193/195 and OSHA 1910 testing/documentation.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code and OSHA 1910.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor equipment.
• Maintain PLC/DCS systems and process/safety controls.
• Read manuals, drawings, and schematics (electrical, pneumatic, P&ID).
• Test and document devices per DOT/PSM requirements.
• Participate in on-call requirements and safety programs.
• Provide direction and mentoring to less experienced staff.
• Provide accurate written and electronic reporting.
• Follow safety policies and LOTO procedures.
