Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an Instrument and Electrical Technician to provide technical support for construction, plant facilities and field operations. The role involves repairing, installing, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on control systems, SCADA, PLC/DCS, and related equipment across gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

The position requires reading and interpreting electrical drawings, P&IDs, and applicable regulations, with on-call and safety program

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED as minimum education requirement.
• Experience with instrument and electrical maintenance and control systems is expected.
• Preferred: Associate degree in Instrumentation or related field.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems and related plant equipment.
• Diagnose and maintain PLCs or DCS systems and process controls.
• Read manuals, drawings, and schematics to ensure compliance and safety.
• Perform preventative maintenance per regulatory requirements.
• Provide accurate written reporting and support to safety programs.
