Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking an instrument and electrical technician to support construction, plant facilities and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on SCADA, PLC/DCS, and related control equipment at gas/liquid facilities and pipelines.

Responsibilities include diagnosing instrument systems, maintaining motor controls, and ensuring compliance with DOT and PSM requirements. On-call duties and safety program participation are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to maintain motor controls, relay logic, RTUs, I&E end-devices.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook/Word).
• Experience troubleshooting/configuring control solutions (InTouch Wonderware, FactoryTalk, RSLogix, DeltaV).
• Extensive knowledge of DOT 192/193/195 and related testing/documentation.
• Understanding of National Electric Code and OSHA 1910 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and schematics (electrical/pneumatic/P&IDs).
• Test, calibrate, and document safety devices per regulatory requirements.
• Provide mentoring and oversee third-party contractors as needed.
• Perform energy isolation (LOTO) procedures and participate in safety programs.
