Job summary

Energy Transfer in Conway, AR is seeking an instrument and electrical technician to support construction, plant facilities and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems, SCADA, PLC/DCS, and related equipment across gas and liquid facilities and pipelines.

The role requires knowledge of DOT 192/193/195 safety standards, on-call responsibilities, and the ability to read schematics and reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience levels: Level C 0–2 yrs, Level B 2–4 yrs, Level A 4+ yrs.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• MS Office Suite including Outlook and Word.
• Experience troubleshooting control solutions with InTouch Wonderware, FactoryTalk, RSLogix, or DeltaV.
• Knowledge of DOT 192/193/195 and OSHA 1910 relating to testing and documentation.
• Understanding of NEC and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor equipment components.
• Read and interpret manuals, policy, engineering standards, regulations, drawings, and schematics including P&IDs.
• Test, calibrate, and document plant and compressor station control and safety devices per applicable standards.
• Provide work direction and mentoring to less qualified employees.
• Participate in call-out/on-call requirements and safety programs.
