Energy Transfer is seeking an instrument and electrical technical support professional to service construction, plant facilities, and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance on control systems, natural gas compression or pump stations, SCADA, and related equipment.

The role involves reading manuals and schematics, ensuring DOT/PSM compliance, mentoring others, and coordinating with third-party contractors.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associates degree in instrumentation preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Outlook and Word.
Experience with control solutions such as InTouch Wonderware, FactoryTalk, RSLogix, or DeltaV.
Extensive knowledge of DOT 192/193/195; NEC and OSHA 1910 understanding.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor instruments and electrical equipment.
Read and interpret manuals, drawings, and schematics including P&IDs.
Test, calibrate, and document safety devices per applicable regulations.
Provide work direction and mentoring to other employees and contractors.
Participate in on-call requirements and safety initiatives.
