Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, is seeking an Instructor Scheduling Agent for the seasonal period. You will assign and coordinate daily and next-day ski lesson schedules for instructors, ensuring guest requirements are met and documented in the scheduling system.

You will work closely with reservations and sales, support on-snow supervisors, and communicate via two-way radio. The role requires organization, calm under pressure, and the ability to work seven days a week during mid-November

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available seven days a week, typically four 8–10 hour shifts.
• Computer proficient and able to multi-task with attention to detail.
• Organized, motivated, positive attitude, and calm during high-stress times.

Responsibilities

• Assign and coordinate daily and next-day ski lesson schedules for instructors.
• Enter guest lesson information into the system and monitor daily/incoming requests.
• Coordinate with reservations and sales on lesson requests and unassigned slots.
• Assist on-snow supervisors with programs, reports, and radio communications.
• Handle instructor calls about lesson information and questions.
• Maintain and stock scheduling desks and staging areas.

PURPOSE OF POSITION

An Instructor Scheduling Agent is responsible for assigning and coordinating daily and next-day lessonassignments and scheduling activities for ski instructors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Give ski instructors all guest lesson information and enter it into the system
• Monitor inventory for current day and next day assignments and follow up with instructors and guest requests
• Communicate and work closely with the reservations and sales departments regarding all ski lessonrequests and unassigned lessons
• Support the on-snow supervisors with their specific ski programs, and assist them with questions and reports, operating a two-way radio device
• Handle instructor phone calls regarding lesson information and questions
• Clean and stock stations at daily scheduling desk and staging area
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Available seven days a week, typically working four days at 8-10 hours per day
• Computer proficient
• Ability to multi-task; detail-oriented, and attentive to follow through
• Must be organized, motivated, keep a positive attitude and remain calm during high-stress times

DATES OF EMPLOYMENT

• Mid-November to Mid-April

PAY RATE

• $21.00 per hour
