Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, seeks Child Care Teachers to provide positive, quality care for non-skiing children aged two months to 12 years in a safe, organized environment. Responsibilities include feeding, changing, supervising, dressing young children, lifting babies, recording daily events for families, and assisting supervisors with set up and upkeep.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Previous childcare experience required; able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Complete fingerprints and background check per state licensing.

Responsibilities

• Feed, change, and supervise children aged two months to 12 years.
• Dress and undress young children; ensure personal items.
• Change diapers and attend to personal needs.
• Lift and carry babies and toddlers.
• Record daily events and discuss with parents.
• Assist supervisors with setup, cleaning, and other tasks.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Child Care Teachers providepositive, quality care for non-skiing childrenagestwo months to 12 years of age in a safe, organized environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Feed, change,and supervise children ages two months to 12 years
• Dress/undressyoung children, making sure all personal items are accounted for
• Change diapers when appropriate
• Lift and carry babies and toddlers
• Attend to children’s personal needs
• Record events of the day for each childanddiscuss them withthechild’s parents
• Assistsupervisors andleads with various tasks, such as, set up, cleaning, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimumof18 years of age
• Previouswork experience with children in private or childcare settingsrequiredAble to lift at least 30 lbs.,stand forlong periodsof time,and withstand frequent up-and-down/ twisting/repetitive movements
• Completefingerprints and background checkin accordance withstate childcare licensing

PAY RATE:

• $20.00 per hour
