Job summary

Deer Valley Resort Company, LLC is seeking a part-time Instructor Recruiting/Database Coordinator to support Ski School staffing for the November–April season in Park City, Utah. You will assist with onboarding, housing, and personnel files, update scheduling systems, process certifications, and help injuries documentation, while coordinating with HR and the ski school team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Recruiting Manager with onboarding for new and returning staff.
• Assist with employee housing applications for the Skier Services division.
• Maintain instructor personnel files, including pay rates and certifications.
• Assist with certification reimbursement process and documentation.
• Update instructor placements in ski school scheduling systems.
• Document guest injuries in ski school lessons and work with HR workers' comp team.
• Coordinate follow-up communication and schedule changes for injured instructors.
• Support pre-season updates for new and returning instructors.
• Provide statistical support for ski school on-snow supervisors.

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Instructor Recruiting/Database Coordinator is responsible for assisting with all aspects of Ski School instructor correspondence, individual instructor data/statistics, and all documentation and follow up related to Ski School staff and guest injuries.

**Please note this is a part-time position**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Recruiting Manager with administrative aspects of the onboarding process for new and returning staff
• Assist with employee housing applications and allotments for the Skier Services division
• Maintain past and present instructor personnel files, including updating pay rates and certifications
• Assist with certification reimbursement process and documentation
• Continuously update instructor placement within ski school scheduling systems
• Ensure accurate documentation of all guest injuries that occur during ski school lessons
• Document and work closely with the HR worker’s comp team for all instructor injuries
• Responsible for follow-up communication and schedule adjustments for injured instructors
• Assist the ski school scheduling team with pre-season updates for new and returning instructors
• Provide statistical support for ski school on-snow supervisor teams
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with all Microsoft 365 applications
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
• Background in HR systems preferred
• Experience in recruiting and hiring preferred
• Familiarity with Deer Valley Ski School systems preferred

DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:

• November to April
• Only Part Time available

PAY RATE:

• Starting at $23.00 per hour, depending on experience
