Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Utah seeks compassionate Child Care Teachers to provide safe, high-quality care for non-skiing children aged two months to 12 years in a structured, nurturing environment during the seasonal period.

Responsibilities include feeding, diapering, supervising, recording daily events for families, and supporting supervisors with various tasks. Housing, health benefits, and ski-related perks enhance this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Previous work experience with children in private or childcare settings required.
• Able to lift at least 30 lbs., stand for long periods of time, and withstand frequent up-and-down/twisting/repetitive movements.
• Complete fingerprints and background check in accordance with state childcare licensing.

Responsibilities

• Feed, change, and supervise children ages two months to 12 years.
• Dress/undress young children, making sure all personal items are accounted for.
• Change diapers when appropriate.
• Lift and carry babies and toddlers.
• Attend to children's personal needs.
• Record events of the day for each child and discuss them with the child's parents.
• Assist supervisors and leads with various tasks, such as set up, cleaning, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Child Care Teachers provide positive, quality care for non-skiing children ages two months to 12 years of age in a safe, organized environment.
