Mastery Schools seeks an Assistant Principal of Instruction (API) to inspire teachers and empower students to reach their highest potential. You will guide a team of educators, supervise teaching practices, and advance data-informed strategies that boost student outcomes.

You will collaborate with the principal to cultivate an engaging, outcomes-focused school culture and engage families and communities in student learning. This role offers growth within a mission-driven urban district.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of demonstrated success in the classroom, preferably within an urban school setting.
• Master’s Degree in Education strongly preferred.
• Experience in and/or understanding of the public school system or charter schools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise a talented team of teachers to improve instructional effectiveness and student outcomes.
• Coordinate assessments and analyze data to drive improvements in learning.
• Collaborate with the principal to foster a joyful, outcomes-driven educational environment.
• Support the principal with data collection, scheduling, and monitoring student performance.
