IDEA Public Schools is seeking Assistant Principals of Instruction (APIs) to lead instructional teams and coach teachers toward ambitious student outcomes. The role centers on ensuring students are on track for college by monitoring progress and guiding teachers to deliver high-quality instruction.

You will collaborate with school leadership to implement TEKS-aligned curricula, lead data-driven conversations, and foster a culture of accountability and student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of full-time teaching experience.
• Teacher leadership or administrative experience required.
• Proven track record of success in K-12 settings.

Responsabilités

• Lead instructional staff to achieve measurable results.
• Coach teachers through daily observations and data conversations.
• Oversee TEKS-aligned curricula and assessments.
• Review weekly lesson plans and provide feedback.
• Synthesize data to develop strategies for goals.
• Maintain communication of student progress with families.
• Foster a productive school culture focused on college readiness.
• Spend 40+ hours per week on campus.
