GEO Reentry Services LLC is seeking a dedicated food service worker to prepare meals for the facility, following established menus and safety standards. You will oversee detainee staff, ensure timely production, and maintain quality control across all foods and supplies.

The role involves coordinating orders, managing inventories, and enforcing sanitation practices while supporting management in maintaining positive client relations within a correctional environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification is required.
• Prior cooking and correctional food service training preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year prior experience in food preparation obtained in commercial, military, or institutional setting.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Cooks according to the facility menu and maintains production records.
• Directs detainee food service staff and provides training.
• Conducts orientation and training for staff employees.
• Schedules production and ensures quality of foods and supplies.
• Places orders, checks in deliveries, and inventories.
• Enforces sanitation and safety in all areas.
• Assists management with client relations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
