Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a dedicated food service professional to support meal preparation, inventory control, and sanitation across all meals for our facility. You will supervise inmate workers, ensure recipe compliance, and maintain safety standards in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities include training, records management, and collaboration with the Food Services Manager to schedule and QA food service operations.

Qualifications

• Must communicate production/service requirements to all personnel.
• Ability to work with computers and the necessary software used by the department.
• Active, valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production/service and preparation/inventory documents before each meal.
• Oversee records such as service plan, tray assessments, restricted diets, daily sanitation, and meal delivery.
• Carry out the orientation and training program for inmate workers.
• Ensure safety compliance and monitor equipment maintenance.
