Job summary

GEO Reentry Services, LLC is seeking a Food Service Worker to support the preparation and serving of foods and beverages in a correctional setting. You will handle salads, desserts, coffee and tea, and maintain sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.

Under supervision, you may assist with inventory, complete service documentation, and supervise detainee workers to ensure efficient operation. This role requires reliability and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year food production experience preferred in institutional settings.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Prepare salads, sauces, desserts, coffee and tea as part of food service.
• Dish out portions and pour beverages.
• Perform sanitation and cleaning duties in the kitchen.
• Assist with inventory counts and ordering documentation.
• Record production and sanitation documentation.
• Train and orient staff and detainee workers.
• Supervise detainee workers in tray prep and sanitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
