Job summary

GEO Corrections & Detentions is seeking a full-time food services associate to support meal preparation, inventory, and delivery within a correctional facility. You will coordinate production documents and oversee tray assessments, diets, and sanitation.

You will also orient and train inmate workers, ensure safety standards, and monitor equipment maintenance as part of a collaborative team dedicated to quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate policies and procedures to staff in a correctional environment.
• Experience with food production, inventory, and service documentation is preferred.
• Ability to operate standard computer software used by the department.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production/service and preparation/inventory documents before each meal.
• Oversee records such as service plan, tray assessments, restricted diets, daily sanitation and meal delivery.
• Carry out the orientation and training program for inmate workers.
• Ensure safety compliance and monitor equipment maintenance.
