Job summary

GEO Reentry Services LLC. is seeking a dedicated kitchen associate to prepare menu items for the inmate population, organize inmate labor under established policies, and monitor detention kitchen operations for safety and cleanliness.

You will help with menu planning, portion control, inventory, and ensuring invoices match deliveries, while maintaining health standards and a supportive team environment. This full-time role offers opportunities within GEO's rehabilitation-focused facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment desirable.
• Good visual and auditory acuity for monitoring safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items and organize inmate labor for timely service.
• Maintain sanitary conditions in accordance with health regulations and certificates for food handlers.
• Assist with inventory of food and supplies and verify delivery invoices.
• Plan menus with kitchen staff and ensure portion control and appetizing presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
