Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Hunter Inside Sales Representative to drive net new business in our Commercial segment. You will own a defined territory of whitespace accounts, develop a prospecting strategy, and work cross-functionally with sales development, marketing, partner, product and customer service teams.

This is a high-velocity, quota-driven role that rewards initiative, collaboration, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in hunter/creating new accounts sales roles.
• Ability to plan and execute whitespace account pipelines.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and build a territory plan for ~500 accounts you will own, call, and manage in a defined territory.
• Focusing entirely on whitespace accounts.
• Create a strategic prospecting strategy to gain introductions and position our technology.
• Identify and qualify new opportunities leveraging inbound leads, personal outreach, and existing accounts.
• Collaborate with sales development, marketing, partners, product and customer service teams.
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to close the sale.
• Accurately forecast territory performance and resources per the sales process.
