Reliance, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Trainee in Dallas to join our growing team. This full-time role provides hands-on training and daily exposure to sales activities, customer accounts, and product support in the metals sector.

Upon successful completion of training, you may transition into an Inside Sales Representative role, supporting customers across Texas and nearby regions. The program emphasizes speed, accuracy, and professional growth within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional experience in sales or office environments.
• High School diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning sales systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program to learn inside sales systems, processes, and customer service practices.
• Shadow experienced Inside Sales Representatives to learn how to manage customer accounts, address inquiries, and provide solutions.
• Assist with processing customer quotes and orders, ensuring accuracy and timely communication.
• Support order entry, pricing reviews, product availability checks, and certification coordination.
• Learn to resolve customer complaints and discrepancies in collaboration with senior team members.
• Attend department meetings and training sessions to develop knowledge of company products, services, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to sales activities.
• Contribute to team goals by supporting sales outreach, order follow‑up, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols, procedures, and ethical standards.
