EMJ is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Trainee to join our team. This full-time program provides hands-on training in customer accounts, quotes, orders, and product support within the metals industry.

Upon successful completion, trainees may transition into an Inside Sales Representative role, supported by a comprehensive incentive program and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of professional experience in sales, service, or office settings.
• High School diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program to learn inside sales processes and systems.
• Shadow experienced Inside Sales Representatives to manage customer accounts and respond to inquiries.
• Process quotes and orders accurately and communicate timely.
• Support order entry, pricing reviews, product availability checks, and certification coordination.
• Learn to resolve customer issues with guidance from senior team members.
• Attend department meetings and training sessions to build product knowledge.
