Job summary

Reliance, Inc. seeks an Inside Sales professional to promote and maintain sales by originating and developing leads and handling customer service via phone or email. You will manage customer accounts, build relationships, and create sales strategies and quotes to win new business.

The role requires 1–5 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and solid knowledge of customer service processes. A metal industry background is a plus; in-office sales support is provided.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• Knowledge of the metals industry and product use is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Sell products to business/industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, store, or showroom.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and maintain relationships.
• Manage assigned customer accounts and grow business opportunities.
• Develop sales strategies and quotes to customers.
• Negotiate pricing and agreements within policy guidelines.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure terms are followed and orders fulfilled.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, and industry trends.
• Support customer satisfaction and implement feedback improvements.
