Job summary

Icom America Inc. in Mount Laurel, NJ is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive sales of company products with existing dealers and new customers.

You will mainly perform outbound calls, collaborate with the Sales and Customer Service teams, and coordinate with end customers, resellers, and management. The role requires 3+ years in sales, experience with cold calling, CRM proficiency (Pipedrive), and a proactive approach to meet targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience with strong emphasis on cold calling and new account acquisition.
• Experience in the 2-way radio industry is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools to track interactions and performance.
• Results-driven with ability to grow revenue through prospecting and tactics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, persuasive over phone and in person.
• Willingness to travel quarterly to meet clients and attend trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of radio communication.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Credit, Sales Support, Production, and Logistics to streamline sales.
• Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform decisions.
• Drive sales growth and exceed targets across channels.
• Stay knowledgeable on Icom products and industry trends.
• Maintain CRM records of all customer activities.
• Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
• Prepare sales forecasts and track KPIs.
• Occasionally travel to meet clients and attend industry events.
