Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America's largest supplier of building materials and related services, is hiring a Sales & Customer Service Associate for retail customers. Under direct supervision, you will assist customers with product selection, provide quotes, and schedule deliveries while meeting daily productivity goals.

You will leverage industry knowledge, competitive pricing, and ERP systems to support sales and growth, also coordinating workshops and maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six months sales-related experience.
• Knowledge of company products, pricing and sales techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers with product selection, pricing and availability.
• Provide material estimates and quotes for small packages.
• Enter orders and schedule deliveries.
• Meet daily/weekly productivity goals.
• Coordinate and conduct customer workshops.
• Resolve simple customer complaints and escalate complex issues.
• Assist with store housekeeping, inventory and signage.
• Follow safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
